Finally, some people love visiting Staffordshire because of the Legend of Mermaid's Pool. This legend is linked to the pool that is to be found on the Roaches- a series of mountainous ridges. This pool, according to legend, shares mysterious links with Atlantic Ocean. The mermaid is said to appear on the eve of Easter to offer either immortality or death to those who see her.
